Details:
Labor organizations are on the move and are utilizing their position on Capitol Hill to push their own agenda. Consequently, due to changes in the makeup of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) as well as potential legislative action, all non-union businesses must be prepared for changes that will impact their operations. ARE YOU READY? There are proactive steps you can take to minimize your risk, including determining who are your supervisors, training your supervisors on what to look for and what they can and cannot do, and creating a company culture that makes it difficult for union organizers to get their foot in the door. The Breakfast Bulletin will address the following issues: • Why your organization could be at risk • Strategies for action to prepare for possible union organizing • Understanding how unions will change your company • Recognizing union activity • Common reasons for unionization • Proactive strategies to meet these challenges • Keeping your organization union free • How the new composition of the NLRB will change the landscape for non-union employers. Non-union businesses will be under attack so don’t miss this proactive training session! The cost to attend is $50.

Description:
Cross, Gunter, Witherspoon & Galchus, P.C. attorneys J. Bruce Cross, Rick Roderick and Jess Sweere will discuss the changes employers can expect from the NLRB, help you develop a comprehensive union avoidance plan that starts working long before organizing starts and teach you how to empower your supervisors to exercise their existing union free rights under the law.
