MISTY WILSON BORKOWSKI dedicates her legal practice to immigration law, assisting both employers and individuals. Misty, who is fluent in Spanish, is the designated CGWG attorney selected as legal representative to participate in PALE (“Program of Legal Assistance to Mexican Nationals through External Legal Advice in the United States of America”) through the Mexican Consulate in Little Rock (2018-present). She is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association, Pulaski County Bar Association, and American Immigration Lawyers Association. She previously served on the Little Rock Sister Cities Commission, during which time she was a Liaison to Changchun, Little Rock’s sister city in China.

 

Misty graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a B.A. degree in International Studies in 1993 and received her Juris Doctor in 1996. She was admitted to the Arkansas Bar in 1997 and to the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Arkansas in 1998. She was appointed by the United States District Court, Eastern District, as a member of the Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Panel (2009-Present) and by the Arkansas Supreme Court to a three-year term on its Criminal Practice Committee (2021-2024). She has lived, studied, and traveled in Spain and Mexico. Misty has previously taught Immigration Law at UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law.
