Jennifer Abruzzo Nominated for General Counsel of NLRB

On Wednesday, the White House announced Jennifer Abruzzo as nominee for General Counsel of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Ms. Abruzzo, if confirmed, will be returning to the NLRB from her current position as Special Counsel for Strategic Initiatives for the Communications Workers of America (CWA), a large international labor union representing over 700,000 workers. Her previous experience at the NLRB includes time as an acting General Counsel and as a Deputy General Counsel. Ms. Abruzzo would replace Peter Ohr, acting General Counsel. Mr. Ohr was made acting General Counsel after President Biden removed the previous General Counsel Peter Robb as part of the presidential transition.
